Trusting the LORD In Our Giving
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. God is able to make all grace abound to you…so you may abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
All giving, whether first fruits, tithes, offerings, or contributions, is an act of faith and trust. When we trust and honor the LORD by seeking Him FIRST with our money, it pleases the LORD and He promises to provide, bless and redeem the rest. We believe that giving to your local church is an important part of fulfilling Jesus’ command to “seek first the kingdom of God”, as is giving to the poor, gospel missions, and other Christ-centered ministries. The Scriptures teach us to give willingly, cheerfully and generously, including massive promises regarding our giving. Our Financial Stewardship
“We aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of man.” 2 Corinthians 8:21
All donations to our church are tax deductible.
The elders of our church steward the resources given to our church with prayerful integrity, transparency, and accountability. We use donor and bookkeeping services to maintain financial clarity and order on a weekly basis. We seek to consistently communicate with our financial partners about the ways their gifts are being stewarded. Beyond Our Walls
In 2025, we’ll give 10% of our budget to kingdom ministries Beyond Our Walls, a percentage our elders seek to prayerfully increase each year. The heart behind this decision is a desire to trust God by “seeking first His kingdom”. This keeps us humble and united with the larger body of Christ, while trusting God to provide for the work He has called us to do. We believe there is a Scriptural exhortation for people to give to their local church, but also encourage people to give to other ministries in God’s kingdom as the Spirit leads.
