At Antioch Lake Cities, we are committed to being a people who live out our faith in all the ways God commands, including with the money, possessions, and treasures God has entrusted to us! This Fall we are digging into God’s Word to learn the secret of a trust-filled, anxiety free, joyful, grateful, content, Scripture saturated, Spirit-led, eternal perspective on money and possessions.

Below, you will find teachings, resources, and starting points for each of the Treasure Principles that we are implementing as a church. We also encourage you to read the book The Treasure Principle by Randy Alcorn which introduces and expounds on many of the truths we are learning and applying!

WEEK SIX: TRUE RICHES

  • Starting Point PRAYER: Father in heaven, I confess that I am prone to being nearsighted with my money and possessions, only thinking about this life and not eternity. Teach me to number my days so that I may gain a heart of wisdom. Help me by your grace to live for eternity, to use my little bit of time, opportunity, and money to store up treasure in heaven that I may experience true riches. In Christ name, amen.

  • Action: Prayerfully create your own Treasure Principle Affirmation and Commitment as a family (See Example). Commit your way to the LORD and trust Him to fulfill His Word.

Fill me with faith that pleases you and takes risks in generous giving. In Christ name, Amen.
