God has blessed us with himself in Christ Jesus, that we might be a blessing to those around us. Join us as we kick off our Fall Spiritual Growth Focus, leaning in together as a church body to have our hearts and hands equipped by Jesus as he leads us in loving and blessing our neighbors.

Knowing and receiving the love Jesus has for us is foundational to love one another as he has loved us. Loving others can be challenging, and there are many hinderances that can get in the way, but Jesus was determined to demonstrate the love of God to us, overcoming every obstacle. He invites us to follow him in multiplying the love of God person to person across the earth.

In John 15 Jesus has been describing in detail how he and his father are at work to help us abide in Him and bear good fruit. He instructs us in the importance of communication with him through listening to Him and talking to Him. All of this is important for those who desire to live out their fruit bearing purpose and enjoy life as God intended. In verse 9, which we will explore in this episode, Jesus drops a truth bomb that his followers for thousands of years have been seeking to fully grasp. Apostle Paul to prayed for believers to have strength to comprehend this truth Jesus revealed. I know you’ll be encouraged as we explore the glorious magnitude of God’s love for us…

In the opening lines of John 15 Jesus clearly communicates ways His Father, the vinedresser would always be at work in our lives…but then he teaches us what actions we are to take in order to abide in him and thus be fruitful. I believe you’ll be encouraged and challenged as you listen in today, and we explore this teaching of Jesus, discovering how we can be active in seeking to continually abide in him by listening to His voice and talking to Him.
